    It can be rape and NTR they aren't really exclusive where one can't co-exist without the other (many doujins are proof of that). I mean they don't even gloss over the fact that Chisa herself was being unfaithful and her unfaithfulness led to her being in a horrible situation. Did she deserved to be raped? No, no one does, but it happened and it was both of them learning to be better partners that was the take-away. Besides that I agree with most of what you said.

    Theres also a memory of Sakuraba kissing Sumi on Chapter 11 that points that as the truth. He dismiss the memory as a hallucination, but probably has forgotten about it due to the trauma surrounding Shuji's death.
