It tries pretty hard to tell an engaging story, but fails even harder. Scenes are all over the place and flashbacks blend into present that blends into thought that blends into present. It's all over the place.
The characters are, as far as I got, mostly alright, at least as shown in the flashbacks. But god damn, they turned dumb in the present. And the romance was, very clearly made to appeal to a very specific audience. I am not that audience.
Always nice to read something a little different.
