This was completely ridiculous... the weirdest things happen and she becomes all powerful in the most random ways and for some reason everyone likes her, doesn't question her, and accepts that they are weak by comparison. But because of that it was funny
Quite fun. I imagine the female author is a huge fan of Solo Leveling and decided to make a romance variant with a female office lady as the protagonist. The result is a roughly half action, half fluffy romance. There is something refreshing about this mix and an MC behaving as she does in this genre.
The story isn't serious enough to be great with regards to drama, it isn't funny enough to be hilarious, but it has pretty solid writing and pretty solid action and the romance is quite nice. A tad too much blushing for my taste.
Recommended for fans of romance or action comedy. If you are looking for a cruel OP MC destroying everything then you will be sorely disappointed.
MC is awesome for being sensible when it matters and not at all sensible when the story needs some comedic/light-hearted moments. The balance is decent.
I love that it shows a certain amount of realism on how living as a woman can be, and also breaks frequent tropes for female characters in manhwa.
Things I don't like:
Ch. 50 so far
Fun read, doesn't fall into the usual disappointing tropes with female protags or hunter stories. Author has done a great job at developing the characters overall. Great humor and not over the top or trying too hard. I love how there isn't a romance that overtakes the story like most of the other manhwas. Its just a friendship/relationship that's been developing naturally.
I've really enjoyed the female lead in a shonen. It just gets better and better. A masterpiece for all to read. This story should be majorly promoted ♡♡
TLDR, give this a try. It's a fun, light read.
The description above is terrible and slightly misleading(?), so here is more info.
Setting: Typical dungeons-invade-earth world where people awaken powers and form hunter guilds.
MC: Typical for the genre, aside from the fact that she's female. She starts off as a super normal office lady and then awakens with that sort of dungeon-MC package where she has terrible stats and apparently no fighting skills, but gets around that with a weird hidden skill that turns out to be kind of broken (not too broken though, compared to a lot of similar stories). She is level-headed but has funny reactions to things and is overall quite likable.
Since MC is the seemingly-weak sort and this is a dungeon story, the second most prominent character is the nation/world's top ranked hunter, who dies in front of the MC. She accidentally "loots" his soul, and he becomes her ghost friend and mentor who only she can see. Their dynamic is pretty fun, and there is definitely a ship there, but so far there isn't much romance (there is a romance tag so I'm guessing that develops later). Their early interactions feel more like something out of a shounen manga where MC has invisible spirit/death god buddies.
I really enjoy the humor in this. The character interactions are pretty funny, but there are also some visual details that I just find weirdly hilarious. Example (this doesn't really spoil anything not in the description): the MC gets home and remembers that her bed is still covered in blood (context: after she almost bled out there from being injured in a first dungeon, she woke up the next morning and went straight to work, then got stuck in another dungeon... so she hasn't had time to clean). She is too tired to deal with it, so she just flops down on the bloody mess and calls her mom, then talks to her new ghost friend, and the entire time the blood spatters are just there in the background of every other panel, and ghost dude has ZERO questions about why her bed looks like a murder scene. She then casually gets under the blood-soaked comforter to go to sleep. Idk why but I found this so funny.
