    I mean to be fair in wuxia it takes years even decades to make and master moves, fighting styles and techniques. Training on your own can only get you so far in a short period of time. Thats why learning from a powerful master can get you stronger 100x faster. So his logic to learn from the sword saint to surpass someone makes perfect sense.

    Other than that there hasn't been anything that stands out to me. As I mentioned before, because no one dies, all the characters are a lot more laid back, resulting in some more realistic/relatable side characters than typically enjoyed in fantasy manga. No one makes decisions out of pure hate, prejudice or stupidity. People just work, towards their own goals, with incomplete information and sometimes make choices they later come to regret. No side characters particularly stand out so far, but the manga's quality leads me to think that this will not be the case for long. The elf's choice not to back the MC despite his previous support, the warrior later calling her out for this, the newcomer being suspiciously aware of the MC. Yeah, things are cooking and it's smelling great!
