This manga thoroughly illustrates the actual slice of life of japanese society: strict hierarchy based on seniority rather than merit, judging people prematurely based on surface-level impressions, demeaning those that stray from the beaten path, hammering down the nail that sticks out, the senior who thinks being in higher ranking make him superior, the passive aggressive roundabout way of criticism, the overly prideful yet whimsical masters (old fucks that hold all the decision making power in society), but most of all, people are generally kind and helpful once you get to know them.
Wow. I binged this today and wow. This was crazy, I would recommend reading this. I just wish we could get one more chapter that shows their current lives
