Damn, they did him dirty in the anime; making him a total wimp and an incredibly annoying whiny bitch instead of the badass who's fueled by rage and the will to live we see (FROM CHAPTER 1 btw)

They also added another monster out of nowhere (with bad cgi to boot) on his first encounter which was double as bad for a first episode. Hope they don't stray too far though
