Waiting for something better. It feels like this series is heavy on meaningful dialogue.

Great plot and great art, thus great work!

The protagonist is quite a psychopath. From childhood he was considered as weird and rejected by all. This is until he meet his mentor, a man well versed in psychology with a knack for life. We will see how his mentor manage to guide our protagonist in the right path. Later this is revealed that our protagonist is a martial art genius. Their relationship is similar to a child with his grandfather. Quite warm.
Later we will see his advance in his career as a government official and then probably his involvement in murim.

For those who had read 'Peerless Dad' you should know his identity.

Lee Kang-Jin is the Third Administrator.

This series shines with its genuinely untypical protagonist and great mentor character, but suffers from mediocre art and (though at no fault of the author) a fan translation that's always bad and occasionally borders on gibberish.

Love the story. I like that the mc has a personality albeit twisted. Love his relationship with his master, father and friends.
He's like the villain who do good things.

Too soon to say much since the story starts when he's a grown-up working as an officer or something of the sort and by chapter 3 it goes to the past, the common reaction is to expect a flash-back and continue with the present, right? Well not in this one, from chapter 3 till who knows when it tells the story of his childhood, and teenage years, his abnormal personality and sociopathic behaviour and the efforts of those around him (his master mainly, who somehow reminds me of the detective of Mob Psycho 100%) to guide him into a "normal" life where he can function in society rather than becoming a psychopath.
It's rather interesting and the characters are mostly well developed. It has some wholesome moments and others where you don't know if the MC will just break and embrace his tendencies. It's a very different kind of story so far of what one is used to and a welcome change but it's certainly not for everyone, those who don't care about deep characters and a slow pace will probably be put off by this one. Then again, the start seemed to have a bit more action in the mix so maybe once the "flashback" is over it will pick up from there and be a more action oriented seinen with an "atypical" MC, time will tell. So far, quite enjoyable.

A child with power, yet inability to understand emotion, leading to warped reasoning.
A kind yet fairly weak master in terms of cultivation, but capable of teaching the boy to feel.
An endearing bond between master and disciple, a boy and his friend(s), all while maturing both as a person and as a personality.

Fantastic, warm and doesn't need the slightest bit of psychological or philosophical background.

This is a good one, a very good one. A world where the characters are actually interesting, an mc that is doesn't understand human nature.
