    It is really frustrating to see this same story beat again and again. The protagonists always end up changing events to such an extent (even in the early chapters) that merely surviving seems to be a ridiculously low bar. Despite this, in almost every series (notable exceptions like "Koushaku Reijou no Tashinami") the protagonist completely fails to reassess their position and options. Sometimes they realize the change, but generally it is only because another character (generally the male lead) pulls them aside and explains it.

    Oh, if you want my opinion on the series: I think it is average. Not bad, but not great. Characters are appealingly drawn, but the plot has so far been lackluster (and the whole situation with the future tyrant half brother is creepy. Her plan would have been better if he was younger).

    Yes, it diverges from the anime on some mid way.
    Since I had only some bits of it on TV. I had thought that I would cover the rest on manga so started it from square 1. Because of the gap in the episodes I don't know where it actually diverges, but I have a good guess. After all some conclusion to stuff happened differently than on anime. Since the series also have text material (I have heard it is light novel, but I am not sure of it could be web novel) I don't know which one follow the source material more closely but I truly like the manga way better. And advice you to give this a go

    To the people whining about Koinzell being weak as he gets revenge. His original body was shredded to near pieces and he said that the fairy he devoured to get his new body never properly integrated. And unlike other fantasy revenge manga like Redo the Healer where there is no personal price to pay for the main character's revenge, Koinzell has to pay the price both physically and mentally. This manga is a heck of a lot better than Redo for the simple fact that Koinzell doesn't always gets his way for the sake of his revenge.
