I would have given this amazing, suspenseful story a 10 if I hadn't got to chapter 45 without realising it's on an indefinite hiatus (maybe completely dropped). It cliffhanger-ed me at the crucial moment I'd been binge-reading for all evening. 45 chapters I waited for Felix to know the truth! And then just as it was being revealed, the horrible truth of this story's incompletion slapped me in the face!!!
This is the worst.

I loved this webtoon. Loved it. I bought all the episodes on Tappytoon, my first ever purchase on that platform. I adore Omegaverse so of course the story is amazing, with action, intrigue, and romance. Even though unfinished, it's still worth reading. The art is some of the best I've seen, in all honesty. Yes, there are more technically precise or obviously beautiful art, but I must commend this artist for her paneling and what she chose to emphasize. The love scenes were so great because there was so much up close shots of their faces, drawn in the throes of passion.... instead of gratuitous porn-style penetration shots (which, of course, has its place sometimes). Their hands and bodies interlocked in romantic lust. It really played up Felix and Isaac's feelings for one another.

So it's a real, real shame that the artist had to be removed from this series. What she did was bad, I guess, but considering all the other questionable artistic endeavors many comic artists have done, there would need to be a lot more cancelations than just Top Jung's. A LOT more. I do not think anyone can match what she drew, and I don't think there'd be a point unless the whole series was redone from episode 1.

So just read the novel. You'll find peace for that indefinite cliffhanger the webtoon left us with. It's very much readable on Google Books.

Endless disappointment..., although not in the story or art, because both are great, and that's why my disappointment is even greater. Mostly in Bookcube and the author. You could say, that everything is the artist's fault, but other events can also occur which prevent the artist or author to continue to work on a project, and somehow they have to deal with that situation. I think this manhwa had a great success, that's why I don't understand how they didn't manage to find a new artist, and why the author left the whole project... I'm deeply and very sad and disappointed. I can't understand how an author/artist or any kind of creator can leave their fans in the lurch like this... It gives the impression that the author didn't feel any kind of responsibility towards the fans, just picked up the money and left when they didn't feel like deal with this situation anymore..
The more time that passes, the less likely it is that they will ever continue. When the project was put on hold, I thought it would be continued in a few months, but maybe I was naive. Now I just hope that another portal will see the potential and maybe pick up the project, because apparently Bookcube has given up...
I wonder if anyone tried to write letters to other portals, e.g. Ridibooks, Bomtoon, Lezhin - KR

Currently on a indefinite hiatus due to lack of artist and author walking away from project (there are official apologies on the book cube website). So the fandom is basically in the dumpster as far as the manga ☹️. There is a gold lining tho - the novels (it’s a series of books) are available through google play books also I discovered there’s actually a sequel to this series.

I am looking forward to the update. The arms dealer is packing heat in more ways than one!
