    Did you not pay attention? He's not changing the past, and everyone that died, will die again. One way or another. He's not upset he's changing things, he's upset his little brother is going to die again and there's nothing he can do about it.

    He'll probably figure something out, but all his powers come from them. It's reasonable to think he wouldn't be able to appose thee will of beings that get away with loading up a backup save of reality. So, essentially he's just been told he's a failure, and he didn't save the person he was trying to save by starting all this in the first place.
