    So I just finished reading the 1st chapter, and I would like to say, why in the world would they execute witches for no reason at all? Can't they just leave them be? Or just kill them if they become a threat? They could create this incredible kinds of technology but they see witches as a threat? Lol.

    If it was me I would have given them a different task like military for example or offer them something so to not cause disturbances, or worse I'll just ban magic since magic can't do them no good either. In the worst case possible if they use magic to kill and harm others that might be enough reason for me to kill said witch but will not kill them all.

    It is like the inhabitants of the kingdom are just pure animals that they cannot think straight.
