This was an unexpected experience. I really liked the beginning of the story, with a shounen protagonist who isn't strong enough to fight but performs an irreplacable role, anyway. That said, once the story got more battle-focused, I lost some concentration, and I began skim-reading chapters after c16 or so. The manga eventually expands a lot in scale, and does some interesting things. Though due to it being shounen, the protagonist obviously had to get a sudden insane powerup eventually T_T.
Funny, fast paced action with a not new but well developed story illustrated by unique art make this series really stand out.
This is a must see shounen manga.
Funny, different in art and story, interesting characters and it holds up well on the second reading of the first chapter, which is all we got right now. It's early to give it a 10, but I can't help it!
Update: It's balm to this geeky soul. I wish I had the money to go buy all the Japanese volumes RIGHT NOW and a time machine to get all the ones from the future.
