I read this when it l came out and checked back to see if there had been any updates. I agree with your assessment. The allegedly main character of Noël died and the person Dreux found was not her as she neither had lived the same life nor had memories of her previous one. To then off screen this new Noël's relationship with a man who claims to be her husband (which she would have no memory of and would be powerless to oppose) is a severe disservice to the story so far. It really does feel half finished with a slapdash ending to cover up the gaps.

Yamamoto was actually asking himself the question when he came up with this manga's title
