    What a waste of a breakdown ... so he broke down and resolved things with them way too quickly. Am I looking too deep into this or doesn't the whole break down feel less impactful after such a quick resolution and how he just obediently started explaining things to them after he broke down?

    this guy is going a bit too hard but he has a point. idk why all these japanese stories end up shoving so many side characters (especially in harem-like stories) and completely butchering the heart of the story.
    it'd be one thing to introduce new characters and then going back to the main duo for a fresh change of pace but doing it like this just screams "we ran out of ideas" to me
