Maruo is proving that I only saw a little part of him, pumped up to see what Kaku-sensei will do with him now.
I first thought kitsune, but after looking a little more her form resembles more a nekomata (the tail bifurcates and the tip), her father was a oni (if I remember correctly it being said) and her mother would be a nekomata or kitsune, can't exactly dismiss that yet, so she is some kind of half-blood or she got her power from her mother's side.
But she still has horns so I am betting half-blood. Her design is fire.
