    To people who grew up playing D&D, it's totally on point.  It's not just random powers out of nowhere, it's very similar to the gimmicks many of us tried to exploit in our tabletop sessions.  There's a few things that are handwaved (Paladins breaking vows is WAY more serious!) but all in all it's a lot more accurate and entertaining than most "based off utterly generic nonspecific MMO/Dragon Quest" isekai.
