    I thoroughly enjoyed the ending. Despite all the ups and downs, Horikoshi stayed on target and delivered an ending that fits with the core message of the series: society requires collective effort and cooperation to solve problems. Hori wasn’t always firing on all cylinders. Some things were certainly messy and rushed, but he always had a clear command of what he was trying to accomplish with his narrative.

    The final chapter is emblematic of this clear command. I loved that we saw the New Tenko at the end of 429 attending UA.
