I really like the way boruto is going overall, but somethings just fell like a slap on face for being a Naruto fan, like this underwhelming Mangekyo gain, these out of ass powers, Naruto had that too but I guess I am so attached to the whole Naruto series, boruto just doesn't hit well enough for me

Rudo's instincts are something else, whatever he felt about Tamzy in these last few days he is acting on it.
I find it interesting and quite good that Urana-sensei's choice of giving Tamzy an internal monologue after the reveal, makes it feel like he is a protagonist too and helps give us insight into his personality and possible motives, but it helps too that she clearly planned Tamzy well as a character and not just as dressing for the story.
