I actually like this new chapter. people forget that all Even did was to give Paradis a chance at integrating with the rest of society. because of this, life on Paradis prevailed for a long time. People had kids, grew old, and died long before war destroyed Paradis itself. War is inevitable, as long as there are people with opposing ideals it comes back and somebody loses. But the people of Paradis had a chance to live, and even save their lineage. Even the child at the end looks like a dependent of the Ackermans

Add to that the fact that even the female bodies are cybernetic and don't work the same way as organic ones logic... yeah, the kunstler men were on some heavy stupid juice.
