I still think the carrot thing is a bit of a cop-out. Iruma had nothing to do with it. He didn't help cultivate it or znything, he just ate one and said "dang that's good"
Where's the conflict here? What choices dod he have to make, what work did he have to put in? He tried to teach for three days, it didn't work, and now the Many-Ears have just found the solution to their problem almost on their own. It didn't have to be Iruma there, so what did he accomplish, how did he grow?

Maybe it's coping, but I feel shonen jump speed up the whole third year for this to be on chopping block. I get it, they gotta do numbers and keep hype, but why the F#!K DOES RENT-A-TRASH AND KOMI-SAN ALLOWED TO HAVE MORE BUT NOT THIS?

World is just unfair by these executives seeing only numbers instead of the art and what stories being told, what lesson could be learn. Anyway, enough of my delusion, maybe the positive is this is Asagawa sensei themselves decision, I couldn't speak for what happened behind the scenes, but what I know the Manga is ending and there'll be no more Rom-com that I'll be excited when new chapter drop.
