I checked this manga out because I loved the fluff between Duke and Alice and was curious about his curse. I’m caught up now and I’ve loved the fluff moments and liked the stuff between the other ships but man the whole thing about his curse and Sade is a bit underwhelming and messy. It’s like there’s going to be no consequences, unless the author actually kills her

I really didn’t expect much from this manga but it was actually a decent read.
And the heroine despite being useless is willing to change and get stronger for once.
No annoying bitch characters too.

Good thinking, but I think it's really strange to limit magic to "artillary" or even limit it to just combat. Magic that boosts your physical capabilities is already confirmed in the series and casting time seems to be non existent. Sure not everyone would be on Tina's level, but if women in general are a lot less powerful than Tina then just imagine the men, who are said to be even weaker.

Let's not even talk combat. Magic could be used like technology in our world, for example for communication or transportation. The moment someone invents a spell that can communicate at range it completely changes warfare because now officers can receive real time orders while ON the field. Because we need communication to be reliable, immediately we have majority women generals/officers. If someone invents a teleportation spell, well suddenly the biggest merchants are majority women. Control of economy + military? Sounds like a pretty solid matriarchy.

I get that it sounds like I'm shitting on the story or whatever, but please appreciate that I'm taking time out of my day to write this. I'm at least somewhat invested in it, so I must like what has been shown so far. I'm also not working with a complete picture, as you've pointed out, so maybe I don't know all the details of the world. I don't mean to sound like an asshole, or pretend that I would write something better. I'm just slightly let down that, based on what I've read in this manga, the world shows inconsistencies and Rentt does not challenge them.
