Due to his father's disappearance, Itsuki Iba is forced to take over the family business: a magician dispatch service. The family employs countless magicians and other supernatural beings to assist those in need of magical help. As the new leader, Itsuki must be tough, commanding, and reliable. However, he faces a significant challenge as he is inherently a coward who allows others to walk all over him. A recurring joke in the show is that Itsuki gets hit by Honami and Adilisia whenever any girl even looks at him. Running a successful business requires him to connect with his employees, which proves difficult due to his personality. Beyond managing his staff, Itsuki also has to handle threats against the family business.
