Somehow, I find this a lot less annoying than that series. I'm not sure why, but I just had to drop that series (unless there's multiple like that and I only read one that ended early) because of how clueless the mc was along with how literally everyone was like "WOW! You killed a high class monster but didn't know it, so we aren't going to correct you on how it's this instead of just a cricket! Oh, and we also won't tell you that you are a lot stronger than everyone else here in every way, so thanks!"

this is the "perfect" ending to the whole Nadeshiko arc, its sad and painful, but fits perfectly
