Popular Reviews
Way too brief!!! argh >.<
The narratives had the potential to be significantly broadened. I found enjoyment in reading it, but at the same time, it left me quite frustrated when everything concluded so suddenly.
Story: 9/10
This is essentially a compilation of three stories, with the first being the longest and most intricate. Initially, I found it somewhat confusing and peculiar, but I believe its ambiguity was intentional. Despite this, each story progressed uniquely and beautifully. There were unexpected twists that left an air of mystery around both the characters and the plot itself. This sense of mystery invites readers to ponder "what if" scenarios and imagine what happened beforehand. The final story was my personal favorite; it caught me off guard and had me laughing due to its sheer awesomeness. I particularly enjoyed the sudden twist and the dark undertones present in all the stories.
Art: 10/10
For those familiar with my reviews, you know how crucial art is for anime/manga. Not only should the style be unique, but it must also flow well. The art in this manga was undeniably beautiful. The proportions were perfect, the backgrounds stunning, and the sex scenes were tastefully done, leaving much to the imagination. The way scenes were illustrated and the angles used were simply breathtaking. Overall, the art was exceptionally crafted.
Character(s): 9/10
Across the three stories, we encounter three distinct sets of characters, each unique in their own right. They all maintained a dark and mysterious aura, evoking different levels of sympathy from the reader. While complete relatability isn't always achieved, there's still a strong connection to each character. Different readers might perceive them differently, which adds depth. Significant character development is more evident in the first story than the latter two, but overall, the characters are lovely and possess beautiful personalities.
Enjoyment: 10/10
I thoroughly enjoyed this manga. I appreciate short manga collections that feature 2-3 stories, as they add variety to the genre. This seems especially common in the yaoi genre. Although I wished the last story was longer, I loved its conclusion. It was a refreshing experience, one that I believe others will enjoy once they read it.
Overall: 9.5/10
I recommend this to anyone who enjoys dark, yaoi manga. It’s ideal for those seeking a quick read without requiring too much mental effort. This isn’t a negative point; the manga balances heavy drama with a light-hearted touch, something often lacking in other works. If you're looking for something intriguing, pick this up and give it a read!
