If you're looking for some mindless smut, this manga might suit your needs. However, if you crave something with more depth—character development, a compelling story, and so forth—you'd be better off elsewhere.

    Story: 1/10
The plot is a flimsy excuse to create sexual tension; expect the characters' actions to make little to no sense. The narrative follows a typical master-servant dynamic where a wealthy boy exploits a poor commoner girl. Renge Kai, the master, exhibits "cold-hearted" affection towards Yuzuru by sexually harassing her, which he terms as punishment for disobedience. When I mention sexual harassment, I mean outright molestation: forcing his fingers on an unwilling victim while justifying it with lines like, "Your body enjoys it, so your words are meaningless." That logic wouldn't hold up in court.
Another charming example of the "romance" and "logic" in this series: when they finally have sex, Yuzuru says "No," and Kai responds with, "Even if you say 'No,' I've wanted you for so long that I can't stop." Sorry, but rape isn't my idea of romance.

    Art: 7/10
The art is decently illustrated in a typical shoujo style. Nothing extraordinary, but it surpasses most others out there.

    Characters: 1/10
I *hated* all the characters. Not one character was enjoyable. Here's a brief introduction to some of the absurdly messed-up characters:
Renge Kai: Justifies his actions through flowery words. A typical "bad playboy" who used to sleep around until he met Yuzuru. Never reveals his true intentions and intentionally misleads Yuzuru for suspense (a plot device). Has trouble conveying his emotions for some non-existent tragic reason.
Hagino Yuzuru: Dependent, weak, *stupid* heroine. Gets herself into situations where she is sexually assaulted by Kai's "friend," Yurioka Chihaya, because she wants to retrieve a cheap ring Kai gave her. She never thinks to ask Kai for help. She's foolish enough to return to Yurioka the next day, despite knowing he'll assault her again. Being sexually assaulted isn't the victim's fault, but in this case, it's very much hers. She sets herself up for it repeatedly throughout the manga.
Yurioka Chihaya: Respects and admires Kai to the point of worship (some BL fan service) and thus harasses his love interest to make Kai's life miserable—that's shoujo logic for you.
Kayaka: A silly girl who "must have Kai at any cost" despite his lack of interest. She goes to ridiculous lengths to try to marry him (like attempting to rape him). Your typical obsessive, scheming shoujo-bitch. Yet, somehow, everyone ends up friends with her in the end. Typical shoujo logic where the heroine's heart is so big and forgiving and perfect (Mary-Sue).

    Enjoyment: 4/10
Despite the amoral, unrelatable characters and horrendous storyline, the smut scenes are well-drawn. If you don't take the manga seriously and ignore everything else, it can be somewhat enjoyable.

    Overall Average: 3.2/10

This is quite late, but oh well. This is my first time reading a smut manga, so please bear with me. I started reading this after recalling the title of its OVA that I watched a long time ago. I became attached to the OVA, so I wanted to start reading it, but little did I know. The early chapters were great; I was happily reading and enjoying it until Chihaya showed up, which ruined the mood for me (I hated the guy too much). At first, I could tolerate what he did to Yuzuru because she didn't pay much attention to it. Heck, she even talked casually to him after he sexually harassed her, forgiving him so easily. After the sexual harassment, I couldn't read the manga anymore without thinking that Chihaya would "act" up again, which he did, attacking Yuzuru once more. Because of that, I lost interest in the story. The heroine is too weak, forgiving, and pretty much vulnerable to attacks. Almost every guy harassed her, and she didn't complain. I was like, wtf?! The main guy harasses her (but acceptable, imo), Chihaya, the bastard, harasses her, and even the main guy's butler touched her. That whole thing threw me off, but I still had to finish the story, so I did. The ending was good; it's just that I anticipated something that didn't happen.

I began this manga with the hope of enjoying an engaging story. The initial chapters were decent, but the characters' personalities felt underdeveloped and inconsistent. Among them, Kai was the only one I appreciated. The female lead was your typical clueless damsel in distress whose actions invariably created problems for everyone around her. The secondary male character, Chihaya, was incredibly irritating; regardless of how serious the issues he caused were, the heroine stubbornly refused to learn from it and kept depending on him. After reading over thirty chapters, I ultimately chose to abandon the series because the plot showed no signs of improvement.

There are numerous issues with this manga.

The premise is already somewhat audacious: wealthy students can choose another student to be their servant, fulfilling any of their wishes. To quit, the servant-student must also leave school. Essentially, the story revolves around rich brats being permitted to enslave others.

However, what I actually had to read was even more shockingly messed up for me (Kai - male protagonist, Yuzuru - female protagonist):

    - Parents who essentially sell their child as if she's a commodity, showing no concern that she's treated like a sex toy.

    - The same parents refusing to allow contact with the person she loves because he can't cover her expenses (since obviously, the daughter is nothing more than a trading good).

    - Yuzuru, who gets traumatically harassed on multiple occasions and doesn't seem to care much about it.

    - Some guy who wants to be friends with Kai by constantly trying to ruin his life, including raping Yuzuru. Later, everyone acts as if everything is perfectly fine (including Yuzuru herself... because 'he already apologized!').

    - The female love rival seems only capable of expressing her love by trying to destroy their lives, explicitly wishing for Yuzuru to get raped, and attempting to get impregnated by Kai (thus binding him to her) using an aphrodisiac.

Even from a romance perspective, there's just too much wrong. They barely do more than have sex every two chapters, and honestly, it's hard to support a romance where one character would have been okay with raping the other initially.

Seriously, I don't understand people who write or read stuff like this (and enjoy it)... or how anyone could consider this a shoujo romance. I've never heard of anyone wanting to fall in love through Stockholm syndrome after constant molestation.

I have never, ever abandoned an anime or manga in my life. I hate leaving ANYTHING unfinished. It grinds my nerves and drives me insane. I've put some on hold, come back to others later, a variety of things, but never in my life have I dropped anything. Somehow, dropping this train wreck was a pretty idea compared to me going insane over unfinished manga.

Here's why: I read ten chapters. The first was terrible, but I thought I would hold out for a bit longer. I had watched the anime OVAs and was similarly appalled at the terrible excuse for an anime, but seeing others reference the manga, I somehow gave place to a seed of misplaced hope, deciding that the manga might be better anyways.

    I was dead wrong.

First off, the story. It's confusing and makes no sense, and no character motivations make sense either. Nearly everything in this manga is illegal and considered sexual assault. If you have triggers towards sexual assault, PLEASE don't read this! I BEG you! It's for your own good. I have no problem with dark content, even if it contains rape (I in no way think it's okay, but I'm not one to shy away from dark subject material), but I had a problem with the way it's dealt here. Manga like Kuroshitsuji contains rape, and so does anime like Btooom!, but it's referenced as being lowly and terrible and illegal, while here it's passed off as something normal and just a minor inconvenience, which grates on my nerves more than I care to admit. In addition to this, the 'Honey system' doesn't make much sense and many holes regarding it are never clarified.

The art is pathetic. None of the body parts have any relationship with each other. Everything is disproportionate, messy, ugly, and painful to look at. It makes me wonder what kind of blind person could've drawn things like this.

The characters are horrible at best. Nobody has an ounce of character, and the few that have some inkling of a personality are the rapists. Enough said.

My enjoyment did not exist at all. As I flipped through every page, I kept thinking "what the actual fuck" continuously throughout every panel. It was horrifying, scarring, and made me actually want to cry.

Overall, this is completely pathetic. I know some people may enjoy it because they claim to enjoy some 'rough smut', but let me say it straight: I am no stranger to smut, and I don't mind reading rough smut either. In fact, I will read almost any smut-- ALMOST. I don't want to read something that's clearly nonconsensual. If this had been a CONSENSUAL BDSM manga, then yes, most of the plots somewhat condonable, but 99% of this manga consists of dubious consent and the heroine not being able to bring herself to fight against it.

This is demeaning and I think it condones rape culture as a whole.

I would recommend this if: you somehow like reading about rape. I really don't recommend this at all.

I would NOT recommend this if: you want a plot, you want to look at pretty things, you are against nonconsensual sex, you want developed characters, you want to enjoy things, you want to have a happy life without thinking about this shit pile of garbage

If you guys are looking for smut, I would recommend looking into manga such as Hapi Mari. There is also a buttload of dojinshi out there just waiting to be read, so that's definitely an option. Whatever you do, please don't read this if you're sane.

If you're not, there's nothing I can do for you.

    Am I being harsh? Perhaps.

Will I come back and read this fully? I'm praying that I'll be sane enough to never do it for my own good, but the unfinished manga might drive me insane to the point where I'll do it. If I ever do, then I suppose that I'll just add to this review and develop it to make it even more in-depth about every single shortcoming and pitfall of this terrible, terrible trashpile.

Thanks for reading my review and choose manga wisely!

    Have a great day!

Oh God, where do I even begin? This story is an absolute disaster. The cliché of a poor girl being completely dominated and pushed around by the male lead who essentially sexually assaults her, shows no respect for boundaries, and behaves like a spoiled child (and calling him a brat would be an insult to brats).

All the other characters are equally terrible. The female lead keeps getting nearly raped or hurt by one person after another, and I have no idea how I managed to finish this story. It does get slightly better after the halfway mark, but it's still pretty unbearable with its pathetic excuses for characters and plot.

I keep imagining a sequel in my head where these two have a daughter as their first child. She faces a lot of hardship because her parents are too wrapped up in each other and give her several siblings (Minor Spoiler: That’s actually the end of the manga when the FL tells the ML that their kids won’t be lonely and won’t suffer like he did, implying she'll have many siblings for the first child. YEAH, FL, THAT'LL SOLVE EVERYTHING!!!!! *face slap*). But that doesn't really help with her loneliness or her craving for her parents' attention.

I feel so much pity for her, but seriously, that could make for an interesting sequel as long as she doesn't turn out like her father or mother.

Do yourself a favor and don't read this. Instead, go read "Kyou Koi Wo Hajimemasu" by the same author. It's a much better story with the female and male leads genuinely caring for each other and being flawed characters.

Contrary to the other review, I found this manga pretty good.
The plot revolves around a girl named Yuzaru who attends an elite school filled with wealthy boys (not exactly groundbreaking). Naturally, she lacks financial means and struggles to afford her education (totally unforeseen). The school's system allows one of the affluent students to select a regular student, like Yuzaru, as their "honey" (read: assistant, slave, sex toy??!!). Predictably, a handsome rich boy named Kai picks her, and she must comply (again, wow, so original!!). If you've read a lot of smut/shoujo, you've probably come across similar plots before... but wait...

Just like all manga, there are some excellent points that make you say: OH MY BABY JESUS THIS IS AMAZING!! Here are some of those highlights:

    1) YOU CAN FEEL THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN KAI AND YUZARU: Unlike most manga where relationships feel rushed, the chemistry between the main characters is palpable from the start.

    2) A TOUCH OF REALISM: This being a smut manga, yes, there's sex involved. However, what sets it apart is how the heroine doesn't treat her virginity casually. This adds a layer of authenticity to the narrative, making intimate moments more meaningful.

    3) IT MAKES YOU LAUGH YOUR ASS OFF: There are numerous jokes and absurd situations in this manga that will have you laughing uncontrollably. Seriously, you might need surgery to get your ass back after all this laughter! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

But just like the good points, there are also bad ones that can turn a masterpiece into a decorated turd:

    1) THE HEROINE GETS RAPED FREQUENTLY BY NON-BOYFRIEND CHARACTERS: Even after brutal assaults, she's more concerned about her boyfriend's reaction than her own well-being.

    2) COCK BLOCKERS GALORE: Every shoujo has them, but in this manga, EVERYONE seems to be a cock blocker. Why? Perhaps to extend the story's length? Their reasons for blocking are so ridiculous they make me want to cut my head off! While this happens in many shoujos, this one takes it to an excessive level.

*This last point didn't bother me much since, after reading a lot of smut/shoujo, you get used to it. Still, I included it for your sake.

    3) SEXIST THEMES: Several scenes portray sexist attitudes towards women, such as her needing to learn cooking to be a "proper girlfriend." These themes may offend some readers, though they don't occur too frequently.

Like all manga, this one has its pros and cons listed above. Overall, I found the positives outweighed the negatives, making it still very enjoyable. I do recommend it.

Holy cow, Batman, this is an absolute disaster that can never be salvaged. It's insane that this is rated as high as it is at the time of writing (7.36). Alright, let's dive into this review of a colossal waste of internet space and time!

    Story - 1
Where do I even begin? This is your classic tale of a poor girl meeting a wealthy molester, a rapist who gets away with anything, and a so-called empowering guy who aids monsters, all while showcasing Stockholm Syndrome in its finest light! For a moment, I'll be serious--wait, no, that actually is the story. A poor girl becomes a literal sex slave to a rich teenager who loves to molest her. She remains blind to the cruel things happening to her partly due to her cowardly nature, making her incapable of telling anyone she's about to be raped. The execution of this manga is atrocious and makes me want to cry. The plot sounds intriguing at first, but by page 4-5 of the first chapter, you realize where it's heading: straight down Rape Street, intersecting with Stockholm Lane.

    Art - 3
Honestly, I kind of like the art style, but each character looks like a genetic freak with bodies that seem like they've come out of Left 4 Dead. I'd rather tie my eyelashes into knots than look at this abomination again.

    Character - 1
If I could rate it lower than 1, I would. Each character is a waste of human cells, if they were alive at all. There's no way these characters could exist in real life without ending up either in jail for multiple counts of rape or molestation, or as victims of rape and/or murder. As I mentioned earlier, the heroine is a pathetic excuse for one, as useful as a gasoline-soaked paper towel trying to put out a fire. The male lead is just as bad, completely ignorant of his surroundings, loving to molest the heroine and create people suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. This manga makes us realize there are no heroes or heroines in this world, and humans by nature are terrible and should be wiped out. Wait, that's not the point of the characters? Whhhaaaaaaaaaaaaatt, no way!

    Enjoyment - 1
I think I've explained why I hated it above, but just to reiterate, I did NOT enjoy this one bit. Every character was either a rapist or a sociopath, the story was worse than filth (actually, that would be insulting to filth), and the art is absolutely trash with no redeeming qualities.

    Overall - 2 (but really 1.5)
Okay, I was pretty harsh on this one, and with good reason: it was TERRIBLE. I read some other reviews, and they seem written by people who enjoy being abused BDSM-style. So, if you, the reader of this review, are anything like me, avoid this manga (and this author, whose work is consistently awful) at all costs. The only reason I read this was because I hoped it would be better than it turned out to be.

To reiterate, I did NOT enjoy watching a girl being abused and molested repeatedly until she developed feelings for her captor via the Stockholm Syndrome principle. I did not enjoy reading this, and again, if you're anything like me, you'll hate this garbage.
