As NoblesseOblige said, Hibiki isn't actually as smart as she comes across as (or her followers generally treat her), and Tomoki should go without saying lol. But, introduced soon (going by the WN), is the country of Laurel, which was founded and basically worships Japanese transferees, called either the 'Wise' or 'Sages', depending on the translation used. Chiya, the priestess in Hibiki's party hails from Laurel, so I don't think Japanese names are as unique in the isekai world to Hibiki as they are to Makoto, since Makoto started out very far away from Laurel in a desolate wasteland.

John becoming badass was cool until I read 30 chapters + of that shit, I literally just skipped probably 80+ and just went ahead and looked at this latest chapter. I quit this manga like a year ago or something (I’m prob exaggerating), but this arc felt so long that I can’t even tell. Time to time I would visit this series to see when this stupid John guy would stop being a fukn edgy ass loser, like this is just absurd writing. Like the webtoon comments praising this shit even during countless hours of some fucking edge fest makes me wonder if the comments were actually made by bots. Like writing during the middle of this arc (when I quit), was just so unbearable and I love ecchi garbage lmao (I have almost no standards). I’m happy tho that this “visit”, let’s me know what chapter the joker shit is over. God bless all of u who feel the same pain from reading this

I also like Solitary Lady
but there is countless ones in this genre and none of them remind me of this one which is pretty shonen in terms of its vibe
