Everyone in these comments are the most bitter incel losers I have ever seen. If you don't like something just move on to something else. Why take the time to talk about how shit something is when you could use that time doing something you actually enjoy. Jesus, I hate fandoms y'all suck the fun out of everything that doesn't cater to your specific needs.

As much as I enjoyed this Henderson-Martha flashback, I have to ask, was it really necessary to devote 6 entire chapters released biweekly to complete side characters that have no relevance in the narrative? Martha hardly even had a presence in the story and she’s telling this long backstory to Becky of all people.

There are other ways of exploring the war background, not to mention this level of attention could have been spent more on the actual main characters that could use further development (looking at Yor). Even Loid’s backstory detailing the war was just ONE chapter.
