Thirty years ago, before the original Kamen Rider series began, Kadowaki Jun was intended to be the first Kamen Rider. However, Shocker's plans shifted when Hongo managed to escape. Before Kadowaki could be activated, the Double Riders attacked and destroyed the Shocker base, burying Kadowaki's sleep capsule under the rubble for three decades.
When Kadowaki finally awakens in the present day, he has no memory of his past. The narrative follows his journey to recover his memories and uncover who transformed him into a cyborg.
