I recently caught up and man i still loved it.

The guy hero is basically out of the picture but will probably popup again when the mc goes meet him or their kingdom goes to war with guns, the girl hero is basically friend/cooking teacher to Mio (spider girl). She is making good improvements so she is less annoying. The dragon and spider girl are in almost every chapter and helping the mc in almost everything behind the scenes, they will always be the main waifu 1 & 2 and both are improving.
