That lightning skill probably let him grind mobs easily under level 2000 and the dungeon only locks you out after clearing the boss, so i guess he grinded his ass off for a year in dungeons right above his level or he could have hopped to different dungeons around his level on repeat, if you can afford the plane tickets going around the county clearing dungeons could also be a way, you would only need like 4 or 5 different dungeons at the same rank to repeat weekly. The MC can easily catch up though because of the teleport exploit when he starts 100% C-B rank dungeons his levels will be in the thousands. It looks like the exp reward and level requirements are sync so the progress never slows down until you run out of enemies higher level than you or dungeons to clear. Which is a bloated level system that's shit imo. They should divide the numbers on levels and stuff by 10 to make it less bloated, and increase the exp requirement curve or reduce the exp and level rewards.
