why kill off the dude, even considering the story that was uncalled for
and he trained and taught the MC, so what if he acted mental about the witch and even lost his team?
could just beat him up.. the writing could have gone to a lot of places

@[email protected] eh ngl isekai is an umbrella term (for me) at this point. Could go on an on about the textbook definition but it's true alot of (trash) isekais just use the reincarnation device as a hook then just abandon it, and follow on with the fantasy op plot
It's the same reason why the "otome isekai" genre is an umbrella term. Even if a series isn't an otome isekai, it classifies as so due to the vibe/setup
Unironically the treasure was the friends we made along the way, and finally a fucking good ending for once. Shit was peak, 9/10. NGL the way the epilogue was going I thought it was gonna be like Back When They Called Us Devils.
