So ugly, short, fat, stupid kid is being bullied. He's a good guy, but understandably has no self confidence and no people that give a shit about him, other than his dead grandpa. He gets prettied up by magic and starts thinking everyone around him is really kind? Did he not notice how they treated him before? Why is he so trusting? Why isn't he at least a little jaded by the fact that beautiful people have better lives even if they are not "good" people? Having a "pure" protagonist is boring af in a manga like this. His only "flaw" is his shit self esteem, but that's more of an annoyance than an actual plot point. Speaking of the plot, what kinda retarded shit is this?

It's just unpopular, the quality is absolutely top notch. The whole historical genre imo is unpopular. Like we have gems like Historie, Issak which go unnoticed just because they are not shounen like Kingdom, Golden Kamuy and (arguably) Vinland Saga

Not sure what chapter you mean but im assuming you mean flying extensively long distances. If they flew for too long then they would not have enough mana to shoot fireballs that change the landscape.
