kuroi sabato

A skilled pupil of Anotsu Saburō (the grandfather of Anotsu Kagehisa) and a master Ittō-ryū swordsman. Alongside his exceptional swordsmanship, Kuroi has several peculiar traits, including poetry referencing Black Sabbath that appears whenever he shows up. Moreover, Kuroi's obsession with ageless beauty led him to use taxidermy to preserve the heads of his former wife and Rin's mother, which he mounted on his shoulders. Besides his prowess with swords, Kuroi wields two shuriken known as Karasu, or "The Crow." He makes his first appearance in Conquest part 1 and is later killed by Manji in Conquest part 3. Kuroi Sabato is inspired by the band Black Sabbath; Kuroi Sabato roughly translates to Black Sabbath from Japanese. Kuroi directly translates to the color black.
