Zekka is a Karateka who debuted in Last Order Book 10: Angel Goes Nova. He is renowned as the most formidable living warrior. Zekka and Tunpó were pioneers in creating Karate styles to combat cybernetically-enhanced adversaries. Both trained under the same master on Mars, who bestowed them with their Karate names and tasked Zekka with developing a "Dragon-Slaying Method" and Tunpó with a "Tiger-Killing Fist," before apparently committing suicide by jumping off a cliff. The master intended for them to create techniques against superhuman enemies, given that dragons and tigers were symbolic.
In the third round of the second Zenith of Things Tournament, Zekka faced Tunpó, resulting in a draw that severely damaged both fighters and broke one of Tiphares' mooring tubes. Later, Zekka underwent further cybernetic enhancements, including a Fizziroy type body and an artificial brain, eventually devising the powerful technique called "Dragon-Slaying Bone Crusher." Six months before Book 11: Angel Cake, with Aga "Trinidad" Mbadi's help, he tracked down Tunpó, only to find him converted into a Robo-Buddha. Enraged, Zekka obliterated the asteroid they were on with a single Karate chop.
During Angel Goes Nova, Zekka encountered Sechs, another Fizziroy body user, albeit a more advanced version. Intrigued, Zekka challenged Sechs to a thumb-wrestling match, promising a full-scale fight if Sechs could make him serious. After defeating Sechs in the challenge, Zekka was infuriated when Sechs vandalized his motorbike "Desecrator," punching him through three floors. Impressed, Zekka promised a future rematch. Joining forces with Toji, another Karateka, they destroyed Anomaly during the tenth Z.O.T.T.'s third round. In Book 12: Angel Redux, Zekka allied with Alita, helping her team defeat the Jupiter team in the semifinals.
Zekka's fighting style remains largely unspecified. As a Karate master, he mostly dodges attacks and occasionally delivers powerful strikes. Possessing lightning-fast reflexes and supersonic speed, he also has extensive knowledge of Karate and the Fizziroy body. One notable technique is "the legendary palmite," where he flattens a glass bottle using just his palm, reshaping it into the palm print rather than shattering it.
