Yuda is the heir to Nanto Kokakuken, a Nanto Seiken style that focuses on long-range attacks. He embodies the "Star of Enchantment," also known as the "Star of Betrayal." Vain and treacherous, Yuda earned his title due to his excessive vanity and considers himself the most beautiful warrior. After the nuclear war, Yuda dismantled the Nanto Roku Seiken by joining Raoh's army, along with 27 subordinate branches (it is later revealed he was manipulated by Souther into doing so). His vanity and treachery are evident in his keeping of a harem of female slaves who adore his beauty, and he readily sacrifices his own subordinates for personal gain. In the past, Yuda kidnapped Mamiya on her 20th birthday, murdering her parents before her eyes and forcing her into his harem before she eventually escaped. He fought Rei, who sought to avenge Mamiya's honor. Prior to the war, Yuda had been envious of Rei, feeling that the beauty of Rei's Suichōken style overshadowed his own Kokakuken style. After being defeated by Rei, Yuda used Rei's hands to stab himself so he could die "by someone beautiful like him." In his final moments, he admits that Rei is more beautiful.
