VesVes, known as Besu Besu in the dub, is the red-haired, aggressive member of the Quartet. She is loud, brash, and somewhat violent. VesVes serves as the Circus' animal tamer, earning the title of Magician of Beasts. Her Senshi counterpart is Sailor Mars, and her signature color is red. She wields a whip.
Naoko Takeuchi described her as a "Queen" with a darker skin tone than JunJun. VesVes is the fourth and youngest sister, which aligns with the size and number of her asteroid, though in the anime, she is depicted as the second oldest. In the manga, it is revealed that she is actually Sailor Vesta, named after the asteroid Vesta and the Roman goddess Vesta.
In the anime, VesVes often seems out of touch with reality, rushing into situations without fully understanding them. For instance, she once appeared before her target on a levitating ball while wearing a flight suit, failing to realize how unrealistic this was until Chibiusa and her target pointed it out. Unlike her sisters, she is less selective about her targets and tends to command lemures with animal themes.
