koudou tsukasa

Tsukasa Kodo is Yoite's younger half-brother. Despite being generally forbidden to approach Sora as a child, Tsukasa occasionally made contact. He would speak to Sora through the window of the basement and once led him outside to play catch. Their father threatened Tsukasa with a fate similar to Sora's if they interacted again, saying, "That's a ghost. If you interact with it again, I'll make sure you never existed, too!" Tsukasa was present during the attempt on Sora's life; he was told to participate but refused. This refusal allowed Sora to escape and survive. Tsukasa carries a significant amount of guilt for not being able to help his half-sibling more. After entering high school, Tsukasa's disagreement with his family became too much, leading him to move away on his own to the town where Sora's attempted murder occurred. Later, he meets Kazuhiko Yukimi, who discovers that Tsukasa is Yoite's brother. Instead of telling Tsukasa this, Yukimi simply says that Sora is dead. Following Yoite's erasure, Tsukasa keeps in touch with Yukimi (and later Miharu), sometimes visiting with Yukimi's cat, also named Yoite.
