kuroki sayoko

One of Yusaku's college classmates, Sayako recruits him to join the school's puppet theater club. Later in the series, Sayako plays a significant role by helping Yusaku secure a part-time job at the preschool where she works, guiding him towards his ultimate career goal. (In the anime adaptation, it is Kozue who assists Yusaku in obtaining the preschool position.)

Sayako eventually marries Saotome, the former president of the puppet theater club, with whom she had a long-standing relationship, though this detail is only revealed when she announces her engagement.
