Ptilol (known as Petite Roll in the manga and Petirol in the dub) and Cyprine are collectively considered the fifth member of the Witches 5. Naoko Takeuchi stated in the Materials Collection that Ptilol is merely an extension of Cyprine's power, yet they seem to act as one entity. Ptilol is named after the mineral ptilolite. Ptilol is essentially the other half of the witch Cyprine. In the anime, Cyprine is depicted as the last of the Witches 5. It was only when confronted that she revealed her "other self," Ptilol. The duo proves nearly invincible to the Sailor Senshi because one always blocks incoming attacks while the other launches assaults from behind. Eventually, the Senshi manage to trick them into attacking each other, resulting in their mutual destruction. In the manga, Cyprine holds the highest rank among the witches at level 999, and her death attack is called "Ribbon Buster." She is summoned by Kaolinite specifically to deal with the Sailor Senshi. Cyprine initiates an attack on Haruka Tenoh in her apartment, prompting Haruka to transform into Sailor Uranus. The Inner Senshi, along with Sailor Neptune and Sailor Pluto, arrive to assist their fellow senshi. Cyprine then uses her powers to amplify the existing tensions and hostility between the Inner and Outer Senshi. Sailor Moon, horrified by this tactic, attempts to destroy Cyprine with her Moon Spiral Heart Attack, but it fails. Cyprine remains unharmed and splits herself into two halves: herself and Ptilol. These two are not twins but a single person divided into two. Cyprine is the sole fifth witch, and Ptilol is just an extension of Cyprine that has manifested separately. Believing themselves to be undefeatable, they face off against the Sailor Senshi. However, Sailor Moon gathers energy from all the senshi to create the Holy Grail, transforming into Super Sailor Moon. She then uses her "Rainbow Moon Heart Ache" attack to destroy both Cyprine and Ptilol.
