Mother of Momoko and Akira, she spirals into a frenzy when her son goes missing. In desperation, she cuts off her daughter's hair so that Momoko can take Akira's place. Threatening to disown Momoko if she doesn't succeed, she reflects on the immense effort it took to get her son admitted to such a prestigious school. It seems she holds little regard for Momoko, and when she gives up hope on Akira, she decides to bring Momoko home, train her to be the epitome of elegance, and marry her off to a wealthy man.

Initially, she is quite distant towards Itou and hinders their relationship. However, upon discovering an open report about him, she learns he boasts top grades and is the son of a major company executive. This revelation leads her to approve of their relationship.
