Mimete is the second member of the Witches 5. She makes her first appearance in episode 112, attacking the Sailor Senshi. Her name originates from the mineral mimetite.
In the anime, Mimete takes over Eudial's role of collecting pure hearts after Eudial's demise. Mimete is portrayed as somewhat scatterbrained and often focuses on flirting with attractive celebrities instead of fulfilling her duties. Among the Witches 5, she is the least organized and most easily distracted. Mimete's Daimons were notorious for extracting Pure Heart Crystals through their victims' mouths. These creatures required the power of the Holy Grail to be defeated. Her signature attack is "Charm Buster" (renamed "Stage Fright" in the English dub). After multiple failed attempts at gathering hearts, Mimete decides to use one of Eudial's abandoned inventions, the Witches Electric Warp, to boost her size and power. However, just as she prepares to unleash her enhanced abilities, Tellu interrupts by cutting off the machine's power, trapping Mimete inside and leading to her demise.
In the manga, Mimete operates under the alias Mimi Hanyu and leads the Acting Class within the Talent Division of Infinity Academy. She holds the lowest rank at Level 40, and her lethal attack is also "Charm Buster." Disguised as a pop idol, she stages a concert for Infinity Academy students with the intention of stealing their Hostes. Sailor Venus, disguised as an Infinity Academy student, arrives to thwart her plans. When the other Senshi join the fray, Mimete calls upon Kaolinite to activate the Daimon eggs implanted in the students, but her efforts are unsuccessful. Ultimately, Mimete is killed by Sailor Uranus.
