A bard-turned-bounty hunter, Kidaf commands a group of poisonous bugs using his musical instrument. Initially, his plan was to use these bugs to poison and kill Pacifica. However, Raquel subdued him to obtain the antidote from his cave. Impressed by Raquel's dedication, Kidaf abandoned his pursuit of the Scrapped Princess' bounty and even offered to help Pacifica find her siblings by sending his bugs to search for them.
Later in the series, Kidaf assisted Pacifica, who was then known as Pamela, in securing a job at a theater as one of the costumed performers. He also helped Leopold and Winia find employment there—Leopold as another performer and Winia as the snack sales lady. When Pacifica's true identity was discovered, Kidaf advised her group on how to escape the city and stayed behind to inform Raquel about the situation.
In the ongoing conflict, Kidaf played a role in resisting the Peacemakers. His journey from an antagonist to a supportive ally showcases his evolving character and loyalty to those he respects.
