He lives with Yoite and is very protective of him, especially as Yoite's health deteriorates. He is also a comrade of Raikō, with whom he occasionally goes on missions. While he tries to maintain a cool demeanor, he often has childish outbursts, usually directed at Raikō. Throughout the series, other shinobi criticize him for using a Glock 7 handgun as his main weapon, to which he retorts "get with the times." However, he does use traditional shinobi weapons such as kunai and shurikens.
