kaiou

Kaiou is the First Rashou. He declares himself to be the Creator of the New Century and the Demon Kaiou. Kaiou is the elder blood brother of Raou and Toki, who stayed behind in Asura after his brothers departed the country during their childhood. He closely resembles Raou but has an x-shaped scar on his face. Kaiou is depicted as the most powerful warrior in Asura and is one of only two characters, alongside Souther, to have brutally defeated Kenshirou in their first encounter. He dons specially crafted armor that enables him to control his evil aura. He harbors a deep hatred for the main Hokuto bloodline, from which Ken and Hyou are descended, because Jukei forced him into a subordinate role to Hyou despite Kaiou's superior skills. Kaiou is the last major antagonist in the manga (although there are others following him) and serves as the final adversary Kenshirou confronts in the TV series.
