A returnee to Japan suffering from dissociative identity disorder. One personality is an ultimately Japanese woman named Kaede, characterized by her gentle demeanor and deep knowledge of Japanese culture. The other is a foreigner named Kaere who holds a strong disdain for Japanese culture and frequently boasts about the peculiar customs of her home country, America. Kaere is easily offended and constantly threatens legal action against everyone. Unfortunately, she tends to adopt this latter personality more frequently. Her given name originates from the Japanese word kaere, the imperative form of the verb kaeru (to return, to go back), and also pays homage to Kaela Kimura, a renowned Japanese idol. She often provides panty shots, featuring unusual images on her undergarments. It is noteworthy that she once possessed a third personality, a balanced amalgamation of the two, until she joined this class, where interactions with students triggered a psychotic breakdown.
