Hiroyuki, also known as Yuki, is a tall and attractive transgender woman in a relationship with her boyfriend Shii. Yuki initially takes an interest in Yoshino when she believes him to be a cis boy but continues to maintain good terms with him even after discovering his assigned sex at birth. Yuki sees many similarities between herself and Shuuichi, though their circumstances differ significantly. During her youth, Shii was the only friend who supported Yuki while other girls teased her and boys bullied her into changing.
Despite running a gay bar, Yuki dislikes cooking anything. She consistently maintains a positive outlook and easily understands what Shuuichi and Yoshino are experiencing, allowing her to offer helpful advice when they face difficulties. Her parents own a uniform store, but due to strained relations since her transition, it has been a long time since she visited her old home.
In Takako Shimura's short story collection "Boku wa, Onna no ko," Yuki is the central character in the story "Hana." Here, Yuki's family—comprising her father, mother, brother, and sister-in-law—makes an appearance, revealing that Yuki is a fan of Keiji Sata, an actor from the Showa period.
