Shark is a member of the Seto Group, initially summoned by Sun's father during the Michishio family's first visit to the Seto family home with the intention of attacking Nagasumi. In his human form, he later becomes Nagasumi's physical education teacher. Shark believes that the sooner Nagasumi dies, the sooner everyone can return to their normal lives. This belief often leads him to attempt to eat Nagasumi. According to Shark, the solution to every problem is to consume the person causing the trouble, whether it be Sun's or Lunar's fans or even a suicide bomber from his own group. He is frequently seen sleeping and has the ability to transform into just a shark's head or a complete shark, as evidenced when he is in the sauna.
