A mathematics teacher that works at the same cram school as Nanjou Sachi. He tries to hit on Sachi up to the point of stalking her.
He is one of the early members of the "Good Vibrations" cult. He had known Pegasus since his collage days. He is the most influential person in the group.
He wants people to realize the greatness of Pegasus' prophecies, yet at the same time he doesn't want him to make any inaccurate predictions. In order to fulfill his plan, he needs someone to do "push the button" work, for which he pays greatly. That someone turns out to be Seki Masumi.
The plan is a mass suicide of "Good Vibrations" cult members for the sake of the world's safety. The "pushing a button" job turns out to be turning on the TV for his senile mother, and indirectly, taking care of her.
