That is what I would call rich snobby brats. The first thing Eliza talks mentions when it comes to her dream husband is his income.

And I expected William to be more glum after Emma left. Although he does appear to be absent-minded.

Wonderful chapter, and all female characters had beautiful dresses, I couldn't stop staring!
